Canada-Ukraine Foundation and UCC National – Ukrainian Canadian Congress launched a public #HelpUkraineNow Campaign to raise $5 million to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need in Ukraine to address any further aggression by Russia. Total donations received to date – over $2,390,000.You will get a tax receipt as Canada-Ukraine Foundation is a registered Canadian charity.

“Russia has declared war on Ukraine and is indiscriminately bombing civilians and hitting Ukrainian cities with rocket strikes. Putin and his regime are war criminals who must be stopped. I ask that Canada and our allies immediately implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine to protect civilians from Russian air attacks, and provide anti-aircraft, anti-rocket and naval weapons systems to Ukraine immediately.

Russia must be isolated from the international community. I ask that you call for a full trade embargo on Russia and the removal of Russia from the SWIFT International Payments System. The Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian people are courageously defending their homeland from Russia’s brutal and unprovoked attack. But they need our help now.
