The Holodomor genocide commemoration: the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Manitoba representatives and Cathy Cox, The Honourable Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage paid tribute to victims and survivors of The Holodomor. The Holodomor, also known as the Terror-Famine or the Great Famine, was a man-made genocide in Soviet Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 that killed millions of Ukrainians.
