On August 26th the Ukrainian Canadian Congress wrote to President Zelenskyy and Interior Minister Avakov supporting the Ukrainian World Congress’ call for a strong and swift reaction of the Ukrainian state and law enforcement authorities to the criminal act of desecration of the “Bitter Memories of Childhood” statue at the National Museum of the Holodomor which took place on the night of August 21-22.
