The Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Manitoba Provincial Council has walked along with the Ukrainian people during these turbulent times. February 24th marks one year of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
On the first painful anniversary of the full-scale war in Ukraine, we call on all residents of Manitoba – Ukrainians, their neighbours, supporters and acquaintances of any origin, to participate in the events of the Congress of Ukrainians of Canada – Manitoba Provincial Council on February 24-26, 2023.
Entrance is free for the opening of a new Digital Display called “Ukrainian Artists United” and every Friday from 5:00-9:00 pm.
The digital display will be playing at the Museum from February 1- March 31, 2023. Entrance most days is $5.00 during the month of February. Regular entrance fees resume in March.
On February 24, 2022, Russia mobilized a large-scale military invasion of Ukraine. This conflict is drawing global attention to the nation’s suffering. In August, music producer Darcy Ataman and photographer Jason Willheim travelled to Lviv, Ukraine, for nine days to connect with musicians and artists whose lives have been decimated by the current conflict. They compiled this amazing Musical Digital Display.
